Goodbye Blogger

I think it is now finally time to break all of the silence. As you know I haven't posted much lately, mostly because I haven't been writing a whole lot, because I have now moved to another host. From Blogspot to Wix.com, all of my new posts are now there.

Why did I move hosts?

Well, I feel like Blogger has become dated and has limited me on how I can present my writing, lessening reader engagement. I feel like with Wix I have more options on how I can present my writing and stories in a way that is more presentable; blogger is very disorganised and unappealing to the eye. Especially with the wide variety of content of writing I do, things easily become messy. Furthermore, with this new host, I was able to create my own blog from scratch. Rather than using an anime blogger template, the new blog's template really isn't that much different from the old one. It is just presented in a better way.

What's next for my writing?

Same old same old me writing my stories; doing my best and enjoying what I do. Writing is like a hobby and I want to share my stories, as I learn important things from writing these stories.  For now, I'm not going to delete this blog as I just have so many fond memories with it that I just don't have the heart to get rid of it yet. If you are reading this message, I would like you so much for sticking with me in the early stages of my writing and blog. But now I feel it is time for us to start a new chapter.

Goodbye Blogger, Hello Wix :)

Here is a link for my new blog:https://animebookapedia.wixsite.com/blog

Simp for the Roses(First Draft)

Surrounded by a sea of roses and capture none,
Simp and wimp for a muse, and you’ll be the one,
And you were denied, ultimately, the one that was shone,
Don’t try to expect nothing less,
You were the one who had no right to confess,

Was it the third one this week?
I guess she was a beauty for sure,
What was this rose’s star-gazing attributes?
Wait! This one had a verdant stem?
The others were wilted! Then your head just tilted?

He said,

This one was the rose no doubt,
Laying beside her as she contained that shout,
I wanted to pick that rose so bad in fact,
However, I had hoped to be spared of that papercut,
Still peering into the sky, the rose laid back without a fuss,
I had gotten closer with no signs of kicking,
Still looking up in the sky our love seemed all to fitting,

Man! That felt great!
She was definitely blown away!

Again, peering into the sky, I continued to wonder,
If that luscious rose continued to grow fonder,
It was time to tell,
Dank deep secrets from the depts of hell,
I mean what else could I have done?! I might as well,

I’m sorry I might not be good enough Miss Rose,
I really did my best with this one, Honest to God,
I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable today,
But please don’t go away!

But like always he was met with the answer of no,

No… No… No…

NO! Why would she?! You hadn’t proven anything to her,
NO! Who would value trash if trash couldn’t even value themselves,
NO! Don’t expect compensation from dishonourable kindness!
NO! She doesn’t deserve you… And neither should you deserve her…

Maybe in his fit of rage he could of gone for the kill,
Although, he ended up just like any washed up cooperate shill,
He had hoped for a paradise with that verdant stem,
Oh wait?! What a surprise he walked and talked ashamed of his shame,

When all was said and done,

The mass population continued to bow,
If only those verdant roses weren’t so foul,
Maybe he could of, learnt a lesson in the end,
He never learnt this lesson and neither did any of thee,
We just prostituted ourselves with no kind of fee,

Onto the next rose it was, he was forever defamed,
In the end, never could he rid of his jolly shame,
He and many like him had no sense of value,
And then onto the next rose, as his price tag greatly devalued,

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (Part 3, First Draft)

I ran as fast as my legs could take me. All the way down trying to assume where Charmander had ran off to. It wasn’t too far from Pokemon square. It was a little isolated from the rest of town because while town square was small, it had this joyous aura to it that would make you want to unconditionally dance in the centre for everyone to see. Thinking back it was rather odd Charmander didn’t do such a thing, he was for sure happy for one, but he did hold himself back a bit almost addressing everyone in the square as strangers. In my mind, my questions wouldn’t stop piling one after another to which after I just couldn’t contain it anymore, I need to know more about Charmander for sure.

I noticed a trapezium-shaped building with a red roof of the same length covering it, I saw it and found it peculiar that it was supposed to be a dojo, the sign was in bold and it attempted to attract onlookers passing by. Which would have been rare, considering it was a straight path towards the dojo and leaving to it with the current of the riverbanks being too strong for people coming to the dojo for a place of rest. Not to mention the craftsmen ship was for sure very poor quality. I was a little taken aback but I tried not to think about it too much. Especially since there was a Makuhita in front of the dojo standing guard. All he would do was keep his arms crossed for the most part. His gaze was fixated on one spot though, never did it drift even in the slightest in those moments of the sun shining into his face or not even acknowledging my presence as I was stood a few metres away from him. He just looked at a lizard next to the river throwing pebbles and rocks, that splashed at the surfaces of the river. From his back I felt as if I were stuck in his shadow, lingering behind him and not being able to come out.

“You’re here… Nison… I thought I might of, avoided it just a bit longer if I didn’t have to run into Team Alakazam.”

Charmander was so deprived of life, his eyes looked weary and he seemed ready for tears. He was so emotional and seemed so fragile not ready to fully express himself like usual. I didn’t know what to think because it confused me.

Why did he want to be in a rescue team? Why did he want to protect others? Why was he so willing to lay if life down for something so trivial at the expense of his own?! Did he just not value it or something?!

The Pokemon in Pokemon Square aren’t ambitious enough. They're too afraid to follow their dreams. Snubbel and Lombre wanted to be adventures and Wigglytuff wanted to travel all over the world. Even Kecleon just settled down even despite living as a feared adventure. They all have gotten too comfortable in town. They aren’t seeing the bigger picture. Pokemon are suffering out there and all they can do is leave it to those tough enough!”

His teeth ground every way imaginable and his emotions were starting to rage within him, even his tail burning brighter.

“There were many who were like me, they became suicidal after be scorned at. Or some just never returning to Pokemon Square forever stuck in the limbo of the mystery dungeons.
I’m not going to live like that Nison, even if it costs me my life, because when we get that treasure at the end of a dungeon or discover something new. I can’t help but feel that my life would be more fulfilling that way…!”

“You’re some kind of fool aren’t you. No one needs you of all people to protect them, your delusional! How can you say those things when Pokemon Square is supposed to be a safe retreat? Why do you care what happens in this world there is no purpose no reason to live in it so, why?!

“Then, what is the point in living without risks then. Could you answer that question Nison?”
It was then that I noticed the waterfall below me. It was so steep and heavy. Carrying every imaginable burden it could into a forgotten stream. That was the same with Charmander, he was throwing away his entire existence down a forgotten stream, and still, I couldn’t cough up the words I needed to.

“Charmander, that waterfall there is like your existence. A steady stream that is rough yet fast-moving, and it is still destined to crumble and fall forever forgotten in the distant sea. The Pokemon wouldn’t care if you were to drift away forgotten forever, and even if they did who in their right mind would sacrifice for anyone but themselves.

You might not of understand my life but when you sacrifice for others you sacrifice your life Charmander, so you need to just stop it!”

For a moment he daydreamed a little first looking up at the sun above and then centred himself still looking back down at the waterfall with strange infatuation. His eyes sparkled a little in the sunlight and tears escaping his eyelids not uncontrollably, but he kept his emotions tamed.

“You’re right Nison, I would be forgotten, wouldn’t I. Although I wouldn’t mind drifting down a waterfall like that because even in death it might be a fun adventure don’t you think?”
He never stopped, always having me question myself since the say day we had met. He was stupid, he was so irresponsible!

I don’t understand this creature because his motives are so unclear and I couldn’t help but ask him again just one more time about why he was willing to live his life so recklessly and why he had valued freedom so much, I just didn’t understand.

“Why are you telling me this why do you care, and why should I keep on living! What do you expect from me I tried to kill myself! yet you saved me. You were in town fending for yourself and I stood and watched, and I came here to try and help you and then you talk about dying so casually?! Charmander! Please, I want to know, what do you want me to do…
My cries and pleas stayed stagnant in the air for a while. I felt the whole world stopping for that blank minute where Charmander peered into my eyes. The emotions I expected back from him was maybe sadness beyond what I could imagine or maybe malice and despair, he took pity on me so maybe he would of, laughed.

None of that happened though, all I saw was his immaculate smile that was for sure riddled with burden. He looked down at me again and grabbed my arm and brought me in for the first hug I could ever remember receiving, from anyone.
I’m not going to drag you around anymore it’s your decision now. I want to know, what do you want. Will you choose to fight and protect others and live for it, or let everything go and protect yourself?”

The ember on his tale that day was much appreciated, even despite the humidity of the weather that took all gasps of my breath away. All was much appreciated.

“We share each other’s pain. We might be different and yet still similar, we are better together. I don’t regret bringing you along because you were never a burden. I don’t regret helping you that day, because having someone who listens to my delusions is kinda fun.

You are my friend, and that means your life is worth something. How much it is worth is up to you.”

I couldn’t see him as he continued to hug, but I could feel his cheeky little grin. I thought it would send shivers down my spine and yet, it made me happy.

He embraced me like no one would before, no one would accept me like he did that day. I couldn’t help but reminisce about the day when everything went wrong for me in my life.
I remembered when I whimpered on our kitchen floor, begging for them to give me another chance of acceptance. A baby hauled in discordance, seeking peace at the amount of yelling and even beating that while not able to see yet(only a few months old) heard the impact of every fibre of that whip when hard scorching fire thumped onto my back.
*Whip* *Slash*
An ongoing beating for 5 minutes straight, all I could think to do was beg.
*Whip* *Slash*
“Please dad stop, I promise I won’t do it again please, I did it all for you please accept me!”
*Whip* *Slash*
That man angered on his tyred couldn’t stop, and I couldn’t move.
*Whip* *Slash*
I had hoped after this I would be accepted, and I still wasn’t.
*Whip* *Slash*
When he shouted all I remember him saying was, “You’re a good for nothing criminal, how the hell would I see you as my son!
*Whip* *Slash*
Get out now, and stop your grovelling on the floor, it sickens me a little.”
 *Whip* *Slash*

I turned to the women next to him looking for some kind of comfort, or some kind of sympathy I was desperate and I needed it, I begged for her to acknowledge me, my mother. She sniffled a little with a grave heart, she had the audacity to still take away my existence as well.

“Who are you… why do you claim to be my child, this baby here is my child! Can you please leave you’re scaring him, do I need to call the police, your just a stranger who are you?”
*Whip* *Slash*
*Whip* *Slash*
‘Who are you’ were the words that broke me that day. I always remembered them, and my tears accumulated on the surface of my skull. I couldn’t look at the sunlight that time as it blinded me. I couldn’t look into the light, I felt too much guilt for what I did to them, I made them disgusted with me and I even made them irate and hateful to me forever. Even though I did all of that to them I might have another chance with this Pokemon.

Charmander then proceeded to gladly let go and free me of our long drawn out hug. He again was thrilled and greatly accomplished, he didn’t jump and cheer he was happy and he was still sullen.

“That being said Nison, I still can’t take your word for things. You're too rash with your emotions so I can’t predict when you will do something crazy again, so I’m going to ask you. Do you still want to end your life? Will you throw it all away right in front of me in that waterfall right this moment?

A decision Nison contemplated over for a good minute or two, he could run away and die peacefully, his life might have been full of regrets, but he could leave without the struggle of hardship with a Pokemon who might of already chose a path worse than death.

Charmander’s presence was the one thing that held him back for definite, Charmander didn’t just give him a purpose but Charmander made him remember why he had to live. There weren’t any ifs or buts to this Nison had to live not just because Charmander requested of him. But also because Charmander gave him an alternative path to walk that might have been crazy and yet still worth living. So in a painfully old Tsundere fashion, the best Nison could tell Charmander was nothing short of incredible,

“If I die now I wouldn’t be able to keep you in check or whatever, I’m your partner and all, I guess.” He acknowledged Charmander and he wanted to leap with joy and hug him to the world's end once again just tighter this time. He was stopped though by the same onlooker of a Makuhita from before. He clapped and cheered with what I assumed was tears in his eyes.
To be honest it didn’t so much kill the mood as it just made us feel greatly uncomfortable. We didn’t notice him until now, but he did pay attention to us a great deal as we talked. He seemed reasonable enough though, he was big and quite stocked like a sumo wrestler and he was yellow with some spots and patterns here and there. Black dotted soles and a black scarf of some sort that seemed to be attached to his skin like a tattoo.

He had open red circled on his cheeks. To finally rap us his appearance he had a nice tied knot on top of his head.

“You two are quite the pair in the making; from what you were saying you two seemed to of had some trouble in Pokemon Square with the various rescue teams. Tell ya what my dojo might be of benefit to you to with your training an all because I got Mystery Dungeons in here.”

“Did you say Mystery Dungeons?! How?! What how?! The heck. You got to tell us Makuhita we want to get stronger you know.”

“Yeah, sure little upstart you two are the most interesting Pokemon to past here so sure I’ll tell ya.
Hahahaha this is gonna be fun.”

A Tale Of Mistaken Identity Chapter 1 (First Draft)

Her name was Sudan all things considered and, in theory, she was proud of who she was. Well known among many for starring in different beauty pageants and shows throughout the years, was beyond beautiful, maybe an angel from the heavens. Never could anything bad happen to her, she was too good, too smart, too independent for things of that calibre. She reminisced about her achievements and the sweet aura that streamed behind her and walking down the streets of the commons. For the first time in years (or even her lifetime) she decided to walk down the peasants’ street, bodyguards in hand of course who knew what could happen with any of the scatter-brained lower, especially in concern with men. She had to not only protect herself but that irreplaceable dress. It wrapped to her like a baby would their pacifier with the bodyguards that gladly protecting her just like a mother would. She walked all indefinitely through the streets and still the guards attached themselves to her and even her beauty. She didn’t particularly welcome it as broadly as one would think, considering her numerous scandals with men but still she welcomed it in slight hesitation.

What innocence could be felt!

This changed a little when they came across a scuffed man on standby hanging himself slightly with a small pole for support. The pole’s tip as sharp as any knife with no other points of comfort insight, he had no pillow, no bed, all he had was the support of the daggered pole. While it touched and gouged at his shirt our ingenious, yet amicable princess couldn’t have him be left alone. She pouted a little with her hair staring cute daggers at her henchmen behind her deciding what to do next. Her legs still crossed in her red attire, and legs of soap-heaped skin on display, she decided to devise a thankful gesture…

His hands were smelly and dirty; the best place she place she could of even consider touching was the pole that he leaned on. Leaning down on him while he read his book, he intentionally used it for some sort of support, for his pumped and still trounced legs looked run over around a dozen. When he noticed that she attempted to grab the pole behind him, at last, he spoke,

“Miss… please don’t remove it, this pole is all I have. I used it all the time… please! It might not seem practical, but I use it for warmth, and I use it as support for my reading pleasure!” He continued as he fell deeper and deeper into the seas of despair. Taken up and being lifted by our dazzling mermaid from atop the seas ocean waters, “Don’t worry about it I was just thinking of getting you something better don’t you think. Is that how you sleep as well?”

The man answered in quick succession,” Yes, yes please help me I would appreciate it milady, your kindness is worthy of an angel I do appreciate such kindness.” With a bit of disgust lingering at the back as she shook slightly what came next was her misguidance down a linear alley. Not bringing her henchmen to follow suit. She gave them a cheeky smile for a signal to stay put behind, they all dropped down at once from it, and they were glad to have signed their papers for their line of work.

The corridors of the small alley were confined and safe, to which the man couldn’t help but cling and grab onto such a curved yet perfectly shaped figure. To her and to even the suited men who lingered behind with contempt. The streets watching from behind the one with clear dominance and control was no doubt her. Not only with the tall stature of 6ft, she was with the man a measly 5ft 7, when she kept her safe distance from him, he still with hearts in his eyes and love-struck he continued to fawn over her. The alley had now reached its dead end and so did he, she finally handed him his money. Coming down to her level at an alarming rate that flushed and raced each hormone through his now see through veins, with blood finally seeping through his nose.

Still bearing with it hoping for her last reveal she decides to give him this note in what could not even be described as cruel,

“Wow, this alley is quite small and confined… didn’t expect it to be such a perfect place to dump you don’t you think little man?” Still, down to his level, her knees were now bent and more seductive yet still greatly hesitant.

This isn’t my thing. But him being so… hmmm, what’s the word… desperate is pathetic. It’s ticking me off a little I was going to play bad girl for him… but… screw it… I have had enough this month, that dare I made with my Bs at home isn’t worth it. The hell let me just rip the paper in front of him now and leave him to rot!

“I felt like playing a bad girl for you today and having some fun, but I kinda want you to suffer…I guess. My god, this was a waste of time, jeez!”
The little man still confused and lovestruck at his adorned angel didn’t even get a chance to speak, to which what followed was shocking and still so effective.
*Dan* *Bam*
Down the wall so hard that you could hear the crack in his skull.
“Ooh this is fun little man, that felt a little better you know… To be honest that was so much better than being your little play-girl right?!” From there she didn’t stop, she had the time of her life beating and spitting on this man’s soul and will to live. She didn’t stop going for an hour straight.

She could of killed him and she could have seduced him to tears and buried his pride way more. She couldn’t bring herself to go further. When her hands had touched the soles of his chest, she would back off. A danger alert with steps back to boot, coming back with more rage. A roundhouse kick following, which could be heard echoing the city. Her bodyguards stood at the forefoot of the alley, so any passers-by were redirected. It was her safe zone for havoc, she might of, gone more wilder and even crazier for this very reason perhaps.

It was strange though because her behaviour didn’t reflect the things she was saying. In a way, she just couldn’t practise what she preached. She had learnt so much about how to talk to men through various Instagram messages with her friends. But at the end of the day she just found it a drag, and quite tiresome, with the fun of the ‘experience’ to her being impure. And for that reason, he wasn’t long killed her Dad said she had done enough damage to the city and others and it can cause problems that could cancel her beauty pageants or the wide array of activities she had available. She was a girl who got bored easily so she wasn’t so easily entertained. There was another reason that even she was too stubborn to admit. She decided it was time to take things just that little bit further. She started to now completely lose her composure. Kicking harder and harder and harder and still much harder with the soles at her feet gouging at his stomach.

“Grovel a little littler man, I like that keep suffering ok?! Please say something though I’m getting a little bored!”

He stayed silent…

“You're better than this little man come on!”

He stayed silent…

“Suffer for me a little more”

He stayed silent…

“Why are you ignoring me…

“He stayed silent, but…

This time he looked up…

Her beating of the man had slowed just a bit as she admired and enmired within herself with the man’s existence being so sorrowful. Even she wasn’t free of even her consequences for her action. All of her makeup when out of order and cross her face again, just like how she first started. When he looked up at her he simply just observed, nothing else.

“You see in truth Mr Homeless I led you on, beat you to a pulp, not just fun you know. I don’t particularly like men like you see, who sit slumped all day on the side of the street asking ‘can you give me some money, please?! Get up and do it yourself, it is so pathetic. Seeing you like this is frankly amusing. Especially because of that old stereotype about men.”

She let out a playful grin to finally wrap things up leaving her the winner of this one-sided slaughter. She couldn’t help but feel a little disturbed though. The man simply stared at her. His eyes were free of water and the white yolk that every eye should have was simply yellow. He was dazed and still fixated; his eyes locked with hers.

He seemed to have shrunk when he finally stood up to confront the giant before him. His eyes seeped with blood that came after she had so valiantly rub up her nice shoes to his face. Mind you they were heels, so the tips of it bloodied. His face might as well of been her next art piece with from his entire head in case with the paint of blood. The only parts that could of thought to have been spared was the lower parts of his body. Luckily for him only subjected to a few kicks or so, to which the miracle of him standing was one to behold.

“You… why I served my life and share in the army as even a teenager to be subjected to this… why…
Could…
You…
Tell me…
Milady…?”
With such courage to talk yet no strength for tears. He did invoke such a sense of sympathy that even she had lost the courage to still lift her feet.

“Listen… I don’t want to toy with you for too much longer, your sympathy is nice. But I don’t need it…”

Her eyes were of an interesting colour, sure they could have been red, and sure they could have been something of foreign and ugly to match with desires of the devil but still her eyes blessed with whitened Colgate. It had to be because her actions up to this point to the man were at best questionable.

She further proceeded to take the credit card she gave him and dashed it to the side of the slum of an ally.

“Pick it up if you want, to be honest, I don’t care anymore. I didn’t need to do it I know… but I’ll be damned if I left making a complete fool of myself.” For that minute her language was so rough and vulgar, it would be difficult to differentiate it from your average street punk,

“Well, I should be on my way now. Use that card over there at your leisure, medical bills or whatever.”

By the chance of a miracle through the blood written man finally spoke.

“Sure… Milady.”

“How are you doing that you shouldn’t be able to speak.”

Still coughing like any old hag would on their deathbed he still wasn’t complacent, “You didn’t pass the test flawlessly, yet you did. Sometime later I might come to pick you up to take you somewhere, how about that Milady.” Still rather shaken up and even taken aback at what had been so boldly claimed. That being the last push making her decide it was time to leave.

Her guards were weary but still prepared. With a metallically beautiful limo with them, sheened and stained with white. She jumped in without a hitch and from there, they drove off. They were in a state of slight shock. From head to toe she was covered in scratches from when she was on the floor, and then her nails bloodied. They found her a little distracting with parts of her still shampooed skin leaking through the torn dress, but still with haste they covered her up from any wishful eyes that could be lurking. Luckily it was in the middle of the night, so this task was quite simple and straight forward.

In the back with her legs crossed looking melancholy out in the window. She took a moment to notice herself, reminiscing about that man.

That man was no ordinary person. I expected some sort of resistance to the point where that was when I would have called in my guards, what gives?! He actively let me toss him around, and at the end, he said something about I’m the manipulated. The hell does he take me for! I’m the one who toys and has my way with men so what does he know about anything.

Still in a daze looking as she zoomed past each city light, she couldn’t help but feel more melancholy than previous. To be frank she didn’t even know what she was doing when she attacked him; she was hoping for a reaction or some sorts of desperate plea. He was an obedient punching bag for her, even the most reserved men that she has had to deal with in the past have had more resistance.

Today she had to put in so much effort in the hope that he would suffer. She had torn up most of her clothing, she looked like a fool for the first time not only to him but herself. She couldn’t pinpoint why she didn’t have the resolve to go any further. She really couldn’t be bothered dealing with him, but she still complied and even helped him. He was trapped and his life was kind of forgotten. Although she kind of ignore these details for the moment and continued to pout further.

With this in mind, they had finally arrived. Her having an inner monologue to herself the whole way through the trip with none of her guards daring to ask her if she was ok, or how her day was. She was too unapproachable and at times she would be one ready to implode on them making their daily work more of a hassle. She didn’t notice this because she was always out with her friends and sometimes coming back a little drink with a man or two always being next to her. Of course, the next day that man was gone, she had always gotten some fun an enjoyment of each man she toyed with, yet not a single day where she could rid herself of the title of a virgin.

She always thought her father would be fine with this because she would always clearly specify that she didn’t have any interest with men and they were her playthings, her dad would happily comply and move on with his day. In all fairness, though she couldn’t blame her father because at the end of the day she kept turning out like that women, irrational actions that go against what she wants to believe in, but then what she believes in. An internal conflict our heroine isn’t likely to now escape you could say, and she still couldn’t stop loving him… or her…

Nearly on her way home down the calm and merry road, she still looked at herself again. A little confused at her actions but still willing to going out there. She was ready to finally get in bed simmering in the bathtub and melting her worries away just as she did every other day. She was on top of her world on social control and she could almost forget what that man down the alley said to her. Prosperous that she of all people could be manipulated the idea was almost ludicrous, yet the chill of the weather outside. In the distant land in the dark sky brought back up her old inferiority complex. At last, though they finally made it home, crossing the distance of a bridge below that separated them from the rest of society. In the first place, this bridge checks to see who leaves and enters and when someone enters, whether via car or other means it is closed off from the rest of society. A separate island and a separate world where our dear Sudan had lived all her life. She was only allowed to leave on orders of her father when she was smaller but, nowadays she does what she wants her way and of her own accord.

They were driving into the mansion which was carefully guarded by the sea of trees that blocked it from the world. While overgrown and surprisingly tall most of them were away from the roadside acting as guiding to her oncoming house. There was a roundabout placed ahead that was the only area with no trees in sight but instead just a small fountain of water that was minimal and insignificant in comparison. Though it could be argued that it was a landmark to remember the house very easily. It could also be easily remembered as it was, their last stop by car, this is where unfortunately they had to get out.

Much to her annoyance, she had to walk a little distance towards her house. It was roughly 5km away and not being so athletic or exercising a day in the 22 years she was alive this was her punishment set in place by her father. He really couldn’t stand to see his daughter so weak and feeble to which she can’t take care of herself, so he had put in place measures, to sometimes make her life easier. Or to sometimes make her life more of a pain, it all depended on what he thought was best for his sweet daughter.

When they walked through the forest the bodyguards always had a map. Sometimes it would be a bit troublesome for them because she would ask for drinks or at random points ask to take breaks when they least expected it; the bodyguards would prepare her chairs and each one of the four of them on either side would pick up a part of the stool to take her home. That would only be in short bursts though and sometimes depending on her mood would depend on how long they would have to lift her. A good day would be about 10 minutes. On a bad day, it would be a whole 30 minutes with a lucky 20 minutes rest of a walk. However today was special, the man in the street before putting her in state. A ferocious state that made her so snide and uptight that she couldn’t help it. She felt like she had such a right after playing into his hands. Or even lifting her ahead to spare the dull and still green grass from fire that couldn’t be described as anything generous.

They still lifted her though and all the way they did, and she never even took the pleasure of even looking at them. Her head simply swung back and forth in every direction. From: front, behind, left or even right and she still never looked at any of them. She couldn’t fully appreciate the calm and mellow landscape surrounding her, because it was so suffocating. Before when she looked at the tower of the trees above all she could think was how squished they all were side by side as if still they were all tied. Not to mention every part from head to toe was wrapped in another.

The trees swirled within and every part of the island she lived in seemed so unnatural, but she still went with everything and treated it like it was hardly a bother. At last, though they made it to the mansion, and she was met next to her father who seemed rather displeased with the tired bodyguards that lifted her over their heads. She was still covered in bruises with her dress torn.

“What happened to my sweet little angel out there.”

His voice in the dead of night was dry an monotone. It was oddly disturbing how his voice was deprived of life while he had the stance of a man of business. He was taller than Sudan, around 6ft 4 and he was the skinniest thing you could find. Thin as any stick and his lanky figure was still so impressionable. His suit was still average with the normal black pants and jacket with black pants, the usual. His shoulders were wide broad, not menacing but oddly peculiar. He possessed dynamic, more dynamic than even Sudan did I would say. So much of him didn’t stand out from normal society it was frankly incredible he would have had the catastrophic success that he had.

“Young lady, you have tired out the poor men again from their usual selves. C’mon play nice once in a while and Daddy might have a lot of presents for you!”

“No Dad. I’m not in the mood right now, bye I’m skipping dinner tonight.”

She again trudged indoors and from there, the bodyguards followed making sure that she was alright. They guided her to her room upstairs up to the massive double doors on the top of the mansion. A spot reserved for her by her very own father who made sure she could have the best of the best. (More details needed on the mansion itself because it will be important later on)

Before she disappeared one of the bodyguards gave her a drink. It was from her father and she was told that it will help lull her to sleep. While she was still hesitant and even highly sceptical of it. She took it without a second thought and slammed the door behind her.

Finally, at last, she could be at peace she found herself rolling and finally tumbling on top of her bed. She could finally check her phone and see what was the latest. Her attention was first brought to Instagram. On a group chat with some of her friends.

Friend 1: “Sudan remember that guy from before?”

Friend 1: “He was asking to talk to you again you know, I’m a little jealous ahaha.”

Sudan: “I’m not in the mood to talk about men today.”

Friend 2: “Awh why not, I know they're a little gross but cmon, please.”

Friend 1: “I mean have you seen yourself your so gorg.”

Friend 3: “Ahaha, you girls waffle so much on the chat lolol why you spamming.

Friend 1: “Just tryna help Sudan out girl I mean she the only one who ain’t get hitched.”

Friend 2: “Totes she needs to get that sorted.”

Sudan: “Somethings happened today… after that getting hitched ain’t a priority of mines.”

Friend 3: “Like a girl I don’t know if your stressed out or what but this group for the girls is open if you, yeah so like just chat, come with us tomorrow down the store, and bring some money with you to. We are like so broke girl.

Sudan: “It’s always me lol.”

Friend 3: “If you don’t come with the cash we got no reason to go either, lol.”

Sudan: “Fine we can all go tomorrow I will ask my old man then if I can have some cash.”

Friend 2: “Nice one girl, we might finally be able to get you hitched.”

At the moment when the chat kept on a downward progression, that was when one of the bodyguards walked in with sudden urgency.

“Miss! It’s time for your daily medicine. Your father wants to make sure you’re in good spirits, so he told me to bring this to you.”

She drank it all at once within her room. She took it with haste because that day she wasn’t feeling especially well. Her room was quite out of the ordinary, while masked with the beautiful colour of pink and beauty equipment here and there. It was so small and confined. Her bed would gently kiss the side of the bed that was tapped on the side with a small window above. Her beauty equipment weren’t scattered in a mess but they were certainly disfigured and disorganised. With a small draw to the right entrance of the room hanging on the wall being the biggest thing in the room. Yet still so puny of a girl of such status, still to the sides on the left there was but a simple mirror. What should have been put into question was why exactly did her room seem so confined and small even for the average 22-year-old adult, she had tons of money in the bank so what was the issue? Well, it was her choice to keep it this way. She has been holding onto it for so long and she remembers how when she was little the room brought her great joy. Almost touching in a sense and she would only let this beautifully delicate side of her slip in motion once she entered.

She found it a bother to talk to her friends, so instead, she found it nice to just ignore sometimes multitudes of messages that would pop up and sometimes look over it in the morning. That the same night she finally decided it was time for bed, she slipped into a slumber.

“Hey girly wake up, hey wake up I got something to tell you.”

Suddenly she was no longer in her room, she was somewhere else. In a dark space in a void of pure black.

“It can’t be… but you’re that guy! You’re that homeless midget I beat up, why are you here. Did you kidnap me, who do you think you are doing you know who I am!”

He calmly responded compared to before, “Well I did say I was going to come to pick you up you know don’t get stingy with me girl. You made things a little difficult for more since your no longer living.”
“I’m not living! what do you mean?”

“It’s as I say girly, your dead. And you ain’t coming back is what I’m saying unless I choose to bring you back.”

She was petrified, she feared what he would do next. She stood there and fell back slightly to the floor. She looked ready and willing with all the tools she needed to grovel at his feet. Though she had a bit of courage to ask one thing.
“Tell me… who are you…?”
“Me?! Hmmm well, I guess at this stage it’s alright to tell you I suppose.
I’m the Spirit of Society. I kind of oversee everything that happens in all societies that exist, and to be frank I’m not happy with the current society you live in right now or you specifically. You seem a bit lost, which is evident with the way you were treating me earlier so I need to punish you see.”

“Punish me, go to hell! You let me punch and push you around why should I…”

He then proceeds to cut in, “Well for starters I’m taking you to an alternate universe, meet and learn about the spirits and take them to the temple in town. If you fail to do that within seven days you die and your soul is mine for the taking.”

“What… die… the hell with you I didn’t ask for this.”
She was shaking and couldn’t really keep calm in that situation and sat their shocked in a daze.

“Chill out girly I will give you guidance if I feel like it, but for the most part girly you’re going to have to figure out by yourself.”

Not even getting a word back in after his last statement, off she went with her being encased in light all around her. Finally, being whisked away by the mysterious homeless man she had found before.

“One last note girly makes sure you keep in mind that you can find the identity of this new world I’m taking you to. Then you might find yours as well.”

A Tale Of Mistaken Identity Prologue(First Draft)

In our society, you are one of the two, the manipulated or the manipulator. Don’t believe me? Let me ask you a question then my fellow reader, who would you pick as your pet, fox or the dog?

Your answer was no question the dog. The fox has no place in our society. They aren’t conditioned to live in our world like cats and dogs do, because the spell isn’t cast on them! A spell that takes them down a trip to be the manipulated, rather than fulfilling their potentials as manipulators of their prey, right? Neither do lions or bears or any of those distant creatures in the forsaken savannah that possess such a vast and multi-layered food-chain. Something to look down on, right? Well, this is the fate of the Society as well, bringing forth the concept and true meaning of life to all of us. Everyone is supposed to help each other in the greater world and support them through thick and thin, which is good in theory. If I am being honest with you, that is a fantasy we have yet to and never will overcome. Maybe I should present this in a way that you all understand, let us set ourselves a scene.

There was a well-rounded man, respected and loved by many who approached him. He was genuine and poured his endearing smile to everyone who sat on standby. For years he climbed and struggled up a very tall yet seemingly linear social ladder. First, it started in high school with his struggle and fight against poverty. Starting from rock-bottom, but he still had an admirable determination to be the best as he continued to gain knowledge and learn from his peers and teachers. No one would have helped him if he didn’t otherwise seek the knowledge. This continued form high school then college and then now. He stood a champion among them all, and when he finally achieved the dream of becoming an ace prosecutor he became ecstatic for the first time in his many long years on earth. He cheered and he feared no defence attorney that came on by, he was the ace attorney of them all!

The irony hit him hard instead though, that same carpet that he so valiantly trudged and studded on was now the last thing he could see. Through the muddied stand in brown, he could see the place of where his sole of a prosecutor stood. Then the other still muddied yet cleaner, the underdog defence attorney who stood with his cool flash of hair yet patronizing eyes with a habit of pulling down the black lump of hair he had up and down all smug.

Then at the top with no sense of morality as he cooly looked at the former prosecutor with an iron hand of justice; still with malicious lies buried deep. The prosecutor thought if it was too much for him to handle his dreaming crashing down before him. 25 years of his life were now all for nothing; he didn’t stand yet still sat with his head down with troubled shame, tried for not murder and not stalking and not purgery.

He was charged for the oldest trick in the book the one we all know and love the one that was known as sexual harassment. Evidence presented was purely through text with two of passion and envy. A man who wanted a push with the other message conveniently hidden from the world. It was then one message and then another piling on a man’s broken conscious and winsome career. Crashing to the waves in the seas, for the birds to pick at after being lynched and beaten by the world! This man’s life was for sure cancelled, nothing to come back from, and a piteous display of his shame. The world had cheered in its entirety at this site, with her being the one to cheer most valiant of all. Silent cheers that echoed into his crumbling conscious.

Who was this sad torn apart victim?
It was none other than the famous beauty celebrity remembered by all as the beloved child actor on Toey and Stace, her name was Sudan Dungal. No one could match her beauty or amazing prowess or dare to question her, with her and the tip of her toes towering before him with such a deceptive expression. Her walk was of confidence and elegant playfulness, bewitching the courtroom with the red carpet.

*Tap* *Tap*

Right up to the defendant with these absurd and still shock driven words,
“You lived your life the manipulated, sorry that it couldn’t be you as the manipulator. I love you, sweetie!)

With that, his presence was no longer worth her time because in this world of the manipulator and manipulated those with the power and advantage of their time will be the heroes of today’s society.
This was how our dear Sudan lived. A woman who unlike others had the perfect figure. Her eyes were the perfect well mellowed shape, tears could easily slip through at any will or command of hers. Her face had the perfectly soft rounded shape, adorable cheeks that even newborn babies well fed with milk or breast still didn’t have that same effect her cheeks had. Not to mention her body that was slender and well curved. Men bowed to the desires so easily with all pure and innocence in their hearts being stolen. Just like this man in the story, maybe she was the one who was really manipulated in the end...

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Chapter 1 (Intro Poem)

I’m still troubled for why I no longer lie,

Maybe instead I thought “damn” that should be the end,

My job was to fall and die,

Wow! That’s harsh… what a blazing sun,

Not even fit for flight, for the swans on standby,

I assure what came next wasn’t fun,

A charcoaled lizard stained in orange,

Oh! How I felt the misery and treachery of every pun,

He made me feel what I knew as foreign,

Now in this world, we were uncanny friends,

Should I really be bothered? It is all so boring,

Even so… when my soul pries and cries,

It tells my conscious that this is our chance to make amends,

(This will be updated to the original post of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon's story)

It Doesn't Matter (Lyrics Review) Sonic Adventure

Sonic Adventure is a game that released in 1999 for the Sega Dreamcast, later being released on the Gamecube in 2003. It is a game that hasn’t aged well in many regards but for its time it was a spectacular adventure that many fans continue to enjoy with its music being one of the things that has aged the best over the years. The music gives clarity and undoubtful awareness of Sonic’s character and how he interacts with the story of Chaos and the past of the echidna tribe with his rather unique character traits. Join me in this short little essay as I dissect Sonic’s main vocal theme of It Doesn’t Matter.

As we start the song what is clear is Sonic’s simple yet effective mindset on the right way to live life. The song's vocals talk about how what Sonic might be doing might seem selfish and foolish because of his will and desire to always run. With the entire verse focusing and justifying Sonic’s actions, ending with them saying he has a ‘steadfast heart of gold’. The adjective steadfast implies a hit fast tempo that shows no signs of stopping like Sonic’s love for always running forward down a simple clear road. Implying Sonic’s will to believe in his path and doing things his own way is unwavering. He won’t have any regrets about it. This fits in with Sonic’s personality because he has always been brash, yet still admirable, which audiences would appreciate and love the song for how it helps them reflect and believe in the mentality of life being a bittersweet road. It is rough and might seem reckless to follow such an uncertain path but there is light, or in a sense the path to a ‘heart of gold.’ It could also be said that instead his heart was being described as being pure gold. No malice or hate just the plain and simple intentions of moving forward to stop Eggman and Chaos. All that happened to the echidna tribe might have been hard to watch for Sonic to learn about and see, but he lives with the belief that that the past can’t be changed and ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ because the future definitely can change.

Despite Sonic’s resolute desires played out to us he still has trouble deciding on what is the best thing to do. Can’t differing on what exactly he should do to the point where the song points out ‘he is fighting purely for himself’. While wanting to stick to his philosophy and way of life Sonic is confused because on one hand he loves running. Blazing at unimaginable heights, taking on Chaos and Eggman. The simple easy route. Despite this, he isn’t sure if this path is the right one to take because he is ashamed of the idea of him running to a goal as an excuse to run away from the real issue of what has happened to chaos and the history behind it, which is seen through the cutscenes of the game as Tikal stops to talk to each of the different characters. This shows a contrast in Sonic’s character because the usual straight going hedgehog questions himself on whether if he is taking the right path. In the end, though he was able to settle on the fact that ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ what happened in the past to Tikal and Chaos because what matters to him is saving Station Square. Making the straight -forward path he has taken seem very lonesome as Sonic chooses to have this battle with himself, showing the strength of his character of not being ignorant to the flaws he can see in himself. However, it can still be argued that Sonic still has these misgivings of if he is doing what is right or if it is just wrong. Not to mention it makes him go and run even further down the steady path his heart has created because he feels ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ if he is was right or wrong because it is just an experience he can learn from and he can for sure do things his own way.

This nicely leads into the last crucial point of him just going with his gut feelings and instincts. In the song after Sonic’s feelings are presented to us the audience we are told to ‘place all of our bets’. Sonic in this story is ready to take a gamble on his ideas. He is terrified or even seemingly frustrated and conceited to not ask his friends because of his desire to run and take on his problems by himself. We don’t fault him for that because of his confusion; still searching for answers he may never get but he still wants to take on that gamble. In addition, he is also speaking to those listening to the song bringing forth the message of putting their trust in Sonic’s ideals which is a reinforced motif in the song. The motif of it really ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ because doing the things you love in life no matter the hardship or challenge is what should come first before worrying about others. Sonic might be egotistical,  he might be young and ignorant but he is still honourably making the promise to the listeners that by trusting in him and his word they are guaranteed to be able to let go and enjoy life for what it is.

To conclude the point of the Sonic song ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ in the original Sonic Adventure Sonic is trying to find the answers of what to do in the situations by himself by simply running headfirst into the issue himself. Giving the message to the audience that if they are having hardships and struggles in life, they will for sure overcome it. Not run away from the problems but run towards them. With even the song consistently expressing this the whole way through with a non-existent rhyme scheme. While rhymes are important to make a song flow, this song says that ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ if that choice was right or wrong because that is up to the readers to decide. In my opinion, they for sure made the right choice. In terms of choices of songs. That is why Sonic Adventure shall forever be remembered in the hall of fame for video games.
