Demon Slayer

I have all but one,


One thing that keeps the dwindling fire alive,

One thing that keeps me moving,

and neither it be fleet or snow,

One thing that keeps me alive and living,

All but one,



I lived a quiet life,

One with no worries or sadness,

I constantly looked into the never-ending sky,

It filled me with a sense of ambitious ambition,

I never stopped dreaming,

 and no matter how much it hurt deep to the core,

She gave me a life just like them,

He brought me here and left me for dead just like them,



However, we had all but one,

All but one reason,

On the edges;

Edges of a tall mountain we clung,

Barely survived,

Nature was kind to us,

Nature was a gift,



But….

All good things come to an end;

Could never last,

As eventually;

Even a cub soon becomes a lion,



That day I descended the mountain,

I came back and there it was,

The nature I had so admired,

Choked my family,

 Bodies stagnant,

The food and water I brought was suddenly a waste,

What was once fruits of labour were now a waste of space,

It was only then that I noticed,

The merciless winds that attempted to bury what was left,

Left of my heart,

Revealed one,

All but one,

One survivor,

One sister,


Sudden successive fleets of snow pushed my body,

Right their near at her reach,

I yanked her with no hesitation,

The nature that I began to hate,

Kept pushing and pushing me down the mountain,

That was it,

and inevitably but also eventually,

A demon was to be born…
