I have everything,

From the day I was born till the day I die,

I have everything,

I walked to school so proudly with

Big brains like Einstein because

I have everything,



I bought everything I ever wanted,

Every game or movie and

It was fun because,

I have everything,



The envy in my eyes grew

dishearteningily so…

I watched as my friends struggled,

Looking as they continued to toggle,

Although while the giants of struggle were after them,

It patted me on the back and I did alright because,

I have everything!



My friends left school,

Goals near impossible to achieve,

Chasing after nothing,

Nothing in an endless limbo of pain,

Nothing as they gave in again and again,

That couldn’t happen with me and

never happen because

I, unfortunately…



Have everything!



When I sit at home stacked with greens,

Devils enter my spirit installing

a curse into my dreams,

Letting me know again…



I have everything!



The chase and the shackles around them

can’t leave,

Never leaving but…

It’s so soft,

Pillows that comfort them at night,

A blessing they can’t escape because,

They have everything,



My everything is different

from theirs,

Why do I have everything…



At this point,

I am in a prison stacked with greens,

I was under a false blessing

since the day I was born,

God whispered into my ears that

I had nothing,
